We noted just yesterday that Miss Girl was going to need to get over her ’60s cosplay phase soon, lest it start becoming a little gimmicky.

Commence bowing down. The baby slayer has become The Slayer.
What’s great about this is that the dress itself only reads as seventies-esque with a good deal of imagination. Like the time she hawked the Erdem X HM collection by showing up looking like one of the Supremes, this is a style direction that took a real eye to pull together.
The dress is a stunner, of course, and the wig is great fun, but we love the makeup and earrings as well. It’s all soft and pretty in a vaguely seventies way and it plays well with the dress, which demands so much of the spotlight. It’s a really well thought-out and executed look.
