Debra Messing’s Walk of Fame Ceremony was High Fashion and Star-Studded

Posted on October 09, 2017

Miss Debra, we can’t “Attagirl” this move hard enough. Like any old-school Hollywood star, you know the value of putting on a show for the fans. Not only did you get gussied up for this event; not only did you get your co-stars to show up for you, but you also brought along a gaggle of well-dressed ladystars as your support/backup. Every gal needs her friends, but a celeb-gal who can wrangle a bunch of them to come out and applaud her for the cameras must be doing something right.

Now let’s go judge everyone.

Well-chosen. She had to know she’d be put in some awfully unflattering positions and she managed to snag a frock that’ll look good in almost all of them. She doesn’t look comfortable, exactly, but she looks about as comfortable as one can expect while wearing a cocktail dress mid-day and being forced to kiss the sidewalk for pictures.

Man, celeb life is weird.

Anyway, it’s fairly retro, but she can work in that style. The gold looks amazing on her. The silhouette should be considered her go-to, since it’s so flattering on her.

Connie Britton, Debra Messing, Mariska Hargitay and Sophia Bush

They’re all out there being besties, so we don’t have the heart to treat them like they’re on a red carpet. Suffice it to say that Connie’s pants are fun and Mariska can work a caftan.

Also: HAIR CAGEMATCH: Who has the more spectacular head of hair, Connie or Debra? No offense to the other two, but C & D are sporting major tresses.

Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally

Cute. Too bad Sean couldn’t make it. We doubt it’s a snub; first because the four of them genuinely seem to like each other (or at the very least, get along with each other) and because they’re all pretty united in their poledancing for this series. Anyway, they look great, but Megan deserves a special shoutout. That lady doesn’t get dressed up unless she absolutely has to. She’s dressed better here than she was for a lot of the recent W&G promo stuff, which tells you something about how supporting she’s being right now. It’s a pretty dress, but we think she’s better off staying away from the church clothes and working a funkier look, more in line with her tastes.
