It seems like every season, at least one design house simply must put out their spin on the “I’ve been attacked by a pitchfork-wielding mob for being the town Jezebel” dress.
To wit:
And yet, while such dresses tend to make us roll our eyes, if not actively get angry (because sometimes there’s a bit of implied violence in the design that tends to be a bit disturbing), this one made us laugh. Why? Because it’s just so … noncommittal. So very “Well, I guess I’ll just fall to the floor now” in a half-lidded, lazy-sexy sort of way. In other words, it’s So Dakota.
You know what else is SO Dakota? Last night’s eye makeup paired with hair you haven’t washed in two days paired with lipstick applied in the last 30 seconds. It’s all kind of awful, but we’re a little amused by how consistently she deploys this kind of look.
