Darlings, it’s an ALL-FASHION PSO this week, as we not only give our long-winded and overblown thoughts on the so-called “Disney Challenge” episode of Project Runway, and not only give other, less long-winded thoughts on the just-completed New York Fashion Week for the spring 2018 collection, but also gush all over one Miss Nina Garcia, who had the best week of her career with the announcement that she has been named the Editor in Chief of Elle magazine. We give you a little background as to why this is a big deal both professionally and personally for Miss Nina, and why we think she’s one of those rare sincerely nice people in fashion. Hot take: She is – BY FAR – the nicest person professionally associated with Project Runway that we’ve ever met. It’s big, big news to have a Latina named as the (arguably) second-most powerful person in American fashion journalism, and we have no doubt Miss Nina is going to shine like a diamond in the role.
But kittens, if she leaves PR, we’re out for good.
So settle in for a whole bunch of ooohing, aaahing and bitchery from these two queens. You know. The usual stuff. And thank you once again for taking the time, darlings.
