Julianne Moore in Tom Ford at the “Kingsman: The Golden Circle” World Premiere: IN or OUT?

Damn, Miss J. You almost had us with this one.

She and Tom Ford usually make a pretty decent style pairing, but we’re afraid this one’s not working for us. Call us dreadfully centrist and narrow if you must, but when faced with a chic, if otherwise unremarkable gown or the same gown with some goofy-ass element added that does nothing but distract, we’re almost always going to recommend the chic, unremarkable gown for any red carpet. But Miss Lady LOVES her goofy-ass tricks, and this is far from the worst we’ve ever seen her sport, so while we’re not actively annoyed by it, we can’t really sign off on it either.

Fortunately for her and for Tom Ford, we are not the final words on the matter. You are.
