To be fair, this choice is pretty great. It’s just that she really wowed us over the last few days and we thought we might be in the midst of a J Law style renaissance, but she’s back in a heavy Dior with some highly questionable head styling:
We keep trying to like it, but we can’t stop thinking it looks like she wrapped a blanket around herself and belted it. It’s just too heavy-looking to our eyes. And the non-colors are fairly dreary, sparkle notwithstanding. It’s not a terrible dress, but it could use some lightness in the styling. A gold sandal and a fresh, windblown look up top would go far. Instead she’s got some bridesmaid shoes on and she looks like she’s in the middle of an oil treatment for her hair, having just finished a YouTube makeup tutorial that she probably should have skipped. Not a great look, dear.
We don’t recall her wearing a cross so prominently before. Is this a faith thing or a fashion thing? We’re asking. Does she talk about her faith a lot in interviews or something? Not that we’re questioning it, or even her right to wear a cross on the RC. It’s just that we can’t recall ever seeing her wear one. A quick tag search indicates that our recollection appears to be correct. Curious.
