And we almost never say this, but Miss Jennifer NAILED IT:
People who hang on to and document our every word (Shut up, there might be some) know that we don’t normally love this part crochet/part spider web/part net/she’s-come-undone style of gown. And to be fair, we’re refraining from finger-snapping and shouting “WERQ” becuase the bottom third of the gown kind of falls apart for us. The transition to full sheer and white strands doesn’t help the design. But overall, it’s glamorous as hell and incredibly sexy on her. Part of what makes the crochet aspect work is its irregular aspect; the way it gives the impression that it’s constantly changing. It gives the look a sense of undulating movement, even in still shots. In fact, this may go down as one of the hottest looks she’s ever sported on a red carpet, although we fully admit the lady-oriented would be much better judges of that than these two queens.
In other news, girl, you owe your hair and makeup team a month’s worth of muffin baskets. They are doing right by you.
