We may have our quibbles with her style choices now and then, but one thing we’ve always loved about Sarah Paulson …
She does not half-ass it. Girlfriend commits.
We have conflicted feelings here. On the one hand, it’s incredibly bold and high-impact. The effect is less glamour and more “fabulous chain mail armor.” But we can’t say we love the shape of the sleeves, and we’re not sure the all-silver styling works as well as it should. The clutch and earrings are pretty fierce, but the shoes feel a little bridesmaid. And we don’t understand the hair choice at all. Maybe she took the armor thing to heart and that’s why she opted for such a serious sort of hair, but it really doesn’t marry well with the dress at all. Turns out you can be Joan of Arc or you can be Emily Dickinson, but we don’t think you can be both at the same time.
