Niecy Nash Makes a Surprising Choice for the “Laugh Out Loud” Launch Event

But it’s only surprising if you’ve been paying attention to her style before now.

… is SO not her usual style jam, which is all about spectacular foundation garments and dresses so body-con they’re a marvel of sewing and engineering. We say that with respect. It’s hard to make a skin-tight style look chic or at least not tacky, but Miss Neicy has forged her own way, winning us over with impeccable fit and an admirably consistent red carpet style.

Which is why it’s such a pleasant surprise to see her taking it a little easy on herself and just serving up simple sexiness in a cute summer LBD. It’s not exactly our favorite dress in the world, but she looks comfy and cute. And it’s a nice change of pace from her usual style, which looks exhausting sometimes.

Of course she has killer nails. She won’t be allowed to step out without a knockout mani while she’s got that fun little show of hers running, which as we said in our review, you should check out if you’re in the mood for summer fun on your TV.
