Darlings, (almost) everyone was so damn elegant and tasteful at this shindig! It’s like we didn’t even recognize half these people. Let’s give them the hard, clinical assessment their style efforts call for, shall we?
It’s simple to the point of being almost a nightgown, but the color sings on her.
Fabulous suit – that deserved to be buttoned for pictures.
The shoulders of his suits never look right to us. Given his height, it’s a safe bet most of what he wears is bespoke, so we don’t understand why no one has attempted to build out the shoulders of his jackets a bit; give him a little structure.
He’s doing alright.
Surprisingly low-key and elegant, if a little basic.
We’re afraid we just don’t get her choices. The goofy hem and half-assed sleeves aren’t great for her. The print (like so many of the prints she prefers) is a bit ugly. And we just don’t understand the shoes at all.
Perfect. Love the shoes.
Tasteful, if perhaps not terribly exciting. Those are the shoes of the week. We must have seen them a dozen times at least.
They look adorable, as per the uzh. We love the mesh skirt but feel like the shoes could use some color or she could do with sporting a statement piece of jewelry. And his pants would look better with a half-inch off the hem.
Perfect. A bit “Ken doll” but perfect.
We’ve been making our way through The Last Tycoon. It’s taking a while.
