Tracee Ellis Ross is On Point for Every Show at Paris Fashion Week

We might not always agree with Miss Tracee’s style choices, but we’ve never denied that she’s got a knack for boldness and drama. What we find a bit pleasantly surprising about these getups is just how much she embraced the aesthetic of each house she was visiting. Granted, it helps to be on the gifting list, but she knew what to do with each ensemble.

In this case, in a season when Uncle Karl insisted on so many of the celebattendees wearing oddly casual looks with weirdly proportioned jeans, she did the smart thing and kept everything as simple as possible. The head styling and mani are simple, classic and chic, which helps distract you from the silliness Chanel put her in.

But when it came time for the Rodarte show, Miss Lady was in her style sweet spot. Give her some fun boldness paired with some design weirdness and you can tell she just comes alive wearing it. We pretty much hate the dress, but we LOVE the jacket and the insane earring. It’s all so perfectly Rodarte.

And finally, when the House of Schiaparelli came calling, Miss Tracee was more than happy to live la vie en rose for them:

Fun, bright, bold and high-fashion. She nailed it. Love the hair. The played-down face was a smart and chic choice with it.
