This lady is on FIRE right now. You don’t even have to scroll down to get what we’re talking about here. Two shots from the chest up and you can tell she’s wearing stuff you want to see more of. Of which you want to see more. Whatever. Just scroll down. You want to.

Admittedly, this strikes us as a bit heavy and covered-up for this time of year. But this has definitely been the summer of lady suiting on the red carpet. We predicted this trend about a year ago, thinking the Hillary Effect would kick in once she won the election. What we couldn’t predict was that it would kick in regardless of whether she won or possibly even in response to her not winning. Whatever the reason, there’s been a pantsuit trend rising for the last year and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
This version makes for one of the most chic and most fresh takes we’ve seen on the style all year. It’s modern to the point of looking like sci-fi costuming (which is not a coincidence, we’re sure), but has enough classic shapes and elements to look sophisticated and chic in an old-school way. And we think the styling is absolute perfect for it.
But if we love the above, then we’re absolutely crazy for the below:

STUNNING. Absolutely unique for the red carpet, not to mention styled flawlessly. Love the headband and face slap. It’s dramatic, chic, sexy and vaguely androgynous.
In fact – and here’s where we risk a fan meltdown – we think she’s beating the crap out of Kristen Stewart at her own style game right now.
That’s right. We said it.
