Between this getup and Pharrell’s, this was apparently the year for jeans on stars at the Chanel show. We figure it must have been something the brand wanted to see, since no celeb shows up for Chanel’s front row without receiving at least some input from the house as to what she’s planning on wearing.
Anyway, whether this studied casualness was Uncle Karl-mandated or not, we like this version much more than Pharrell’s hippy granny drag.
We’re trying, fashion world, but we really don’t love the latest jean cuts for women. Doesn’t matter in the long run, because we’re not ever going to buy or wear ladyjeans. Still, this is a veritable Temple of Opinions, so we thought we’d throw another one out there. Ladies? Weigh in.
The top is fantastic, though. And it does all the work of elevating the awkward jeans and basic footwear. She looks chic and Chanel-appropriate.
We kind of love the eyeshadow, but we expect to hear vigorous disagreement on the matter.
