The Girls Trip gals got their red carpet on, but each of them kept fairly true to themselves. No coordinating here. Instead, it’s a series of style statement, specific to each woman.
Miss Jada likes simple, bold, Hollywood glam (when she’s not dressing like a backup dancer from an ’80s music video, that is). We can’t say we’re in love with this dress, but it’s definitely her style.
Miss Kelly works a sexy-businesslike look, although it kinda looks like she put a pencil skirt on over a bathing suit. Come to think of it, that skirt looks like a beach blanket. This may be one impressively convertible poolside-to-red carpet ensemble, for all we know.
The Queen would rather let her face and some well-chosen jewelry do all the work. It’s not a bad strategy, but the outfit needs to be neutral in that case, not hellaciously distracting in its frumpiness.
Miss Regina opted for pure, unadulterated look-at-me-ism. We’re not crazy about the sheer bodice, but we could’ve been convinced on the rest of it – until we saw the lace at her hip. That’s just not good, we’re afraid.
