Comic-Con 2017: Entertainment Weekly’s Bash! – Part 1

Posted on July 24, 2017

Comic-Con isn’t just a place for nerds to gather and big entertainment conglomerates to blow through huge chunks of their marketing budget, it’s also a place for the famous and semi-famous to party their asses off. It is a convention, after all.

Let’s take a break from running down all the panels and accompanying nerd-news to check in on everyone’s party style, shall we? And by “check in” we mean “judge.”

Aidy Bryant

Adorable dress, but nothing else she’s wearing goes with it.

Anthony Rapp

Venue-appropriate (not to mention project-he’s-promoting appropriate) and cutely done.

Camila Mendes

Honey, pump your brakes a little. We’re at Comic-Con.

Camren Bicondova

It’s giving us a bit of a headache becaise it’s all so discordant. The clutch and shoes don’t go and are each distracting on their own. The weird straps on that jumper thing are too distracting to work.

Colin O’Donoghue

Yeah, alright.

Colton Haynes

Hmm. We’ve seen better from you, mister.

Danielle Panabaker

It’s okay, but it needs some piece of jewelry to finish it off, like a bright or bold bangle.

Finn Wolfhard

Very cute and stylish without being precocious about it. Love the kicks.

Gabrielle Anwar

Nice, if a little overblown.

James Marsden

We’ll take it.

Jamie Chung

Lots of ladysuits this weekend. This is nice enough, but it sure doesn’t feel like Comic-Con.

KJ Apa

Madelaine Petsch

A little dramatic, but it works. Not sure about the metallic pumps.

Nathalie Emmanuel

Fun, but the belt seems like an odd choice.

Orlando Jones and Ricky Whittle

Go ahead and kiss, guys. We won’t mind.

Kinda loving the aggressive boot action going on here.

Rose Mclver

Surprisingly chic, although we don’t love that top.

Steven Strait

Tyler Posey

Nerd-hot 2.0.

Yvette Nicole Brown

LOVE this. The propotions are fun and the colors look great on her.
