And we wouldn’t have her any other way.
We keep having to mentally edit those silly straps out of the picture. We also have to pretend to not to notice that this is a standard ribbed, sleeved sweater dress with the shoulders pushed down and two silly straps added to it. Which means the entire bust is ill-fitted – by design.
Kudos to her for pretty much pulling it off (largely through the power of being 20 years old), but the longer we look at the entire top half of this garment, the more annoyed we become. Sure, if you remove the straps and push the shoulders back into place, it becomes less “interesting,” we suppose, but we’ll take a slightly less interesting well-fitted dress that looks good over a decent dress nearly ruined by extraneous design details.
And now, having used “extraneous” in a post about a dress first thing in the morning, we’re off to pat ourselves on the back and go get another cup of coffee. Talk amongst yourselves.
