Style File: Salma Hayek Snags a Cute Altuzarra and Relapses with Gucci

Posted on June 09, 2017

Miss Salma continues her poledance for Beatriz at Dinner, which is getting great buzz. And as we noted yesterday, Mrs. Luthor tends to do better when she’s promoting her own shit instead of the billions of dollars’ worth of hubby’s shit.

So to speak.

At any rate, she’s still doing better, but bits of the ol’ “Mexican Edina Monsoon” part of her are starting to creep back in. To wit:

LIVING FOR YOUR SHADES, LADY.

Great dress. But those shoes – which we noted yesterday and said we weren’t sure about them – are HORRIBLE now that we’ve gotten a better look. Girl, no. Under no circumstances do your Lego hooker shoes work. We’re always the ones complaining about lady stars in plain black pumps, but they’re the only thing that make any sense here – other than black sandals, mules, or peep-toes, that is.

But then she had to dive back into the family-owned pile and the results went from “mixed,” to “typical,” we’re sorry to say:

A big ol’ NEW to all of it. That dress is just plain ugly and Mrs. Billionaire, we find your recycling of those foot-hideosities to be completely puzzling at this point. They DO NOT GO with that dress at all. Then again, they don’t much go with anything, do they? Regardless, this outfit is a full-on Classic Hayek.

That print is a hate crime against the world.
