Olivia Munn attends the Proactiv Pop-up Shop event in NYC.
Miss Lady’s been on a bit of a promo tear lately, taking the opportunity last week to dress up in some appropriately horrifying fashion in order to hawk beef jerky and now dressing like an old-school spokesmodel to hawk Proactive. And by that latter point we mean that she’s dressing just like old-school spokesmodels have done for as long as there’s been a mass media and an advertising industry to support it: she’s dressed in simple, basic, one-color dresses that tend to evoke the product she’s selling.
That’s a whole lotta thigh for a daytime product launch of a product that doesn’t have anything to do with thighs, but this is a fairly cute little look. It’s coordinated to a Cathy Cambridge level, though. Note the matching shoes. Simple, stylish blandness is called for here. Nailed it.
Nailed it again.
Boy, she’s really all about her thighs right now, hunh? Anyway, the shoes make a nice bit of final punctuation for a look that could’ve come off too generic. It’s kind of weird how some of her best, most interesting style work is done when she’s selling stuff rather than promoting herself.
