It always seems like Miss Demi disappears for three or four years at a time, then suddenly makes a flurry of appearances, then disappears again. Which is why she’s getting the Style File treatment. We have no idea how long she’s going to stay so we’re getting in all our judgments now.
Demi Moore visits “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” at Rockefeller Center in New York City in Self-Portrait.
In a lot of ways, a dress like this is quintessentially Demi. A minidress with both juvenile undertones and a deconstructed element. We don’t mind the look, even though the “juvenile” aspect is being pushed to its limit. Oh, wait. We mind the sleeves. Those look really annoying. And we suppose we mind the big pussy bow, since it tends to add to that “Birthday party dress gone wrong” vibe that sets our teeth on edge.
Turns out? We DO mind this look. We just don’t necessarily hate it. Fix the sleeves, get rid of the bow and sit her down for some real talk about whether Mary Janes are right for her. After that, it should work fine.
Demi Moore attends the premiere of “Rough Night” held at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City in Christian Dior.
Now this? We kind of love. Granted, the bands across the bodice tend to make it look like she’s squeezed into it when she’s not, but the color story is so different and eye-catching that we can’t help the good feelings. Miss Lady managed to snag a Dior that’s both chic and unique – and that is not an easy thing to do these days. Respect.
But getcha hair cut. It’s been 20 years, girl.
