The time has come for you all to submit, kittens. Submit to the glorious weirdness that is Miss Celine’s Merry Widow drag. While it’s always been true that nobody does it quite like Celine Dion, this has never been more true about her style choices of late, which have become bolder, wilder, FAR more dramatic – and somehow still seem to be quintessentially her.
Céline Dion is spotted on her way to Nordstrom to launch her collection in Paris, in Roberto Cavalli.
This is, of course, very silly. We think, if everything fit her correctly, we could come around on this one, since performing stars and singers generally get a lot of leeway for wearing, say, a wildly printed suit with exaggerated proportions. But to be more accurate about it, what we really think is that each of these pieces would be much better seeing other pieces; that coat in particular. But if she only wore one tastefully deployed print item, how would we know we were looking at Celine? The clown clothes are part of the brand.
Still, she could get the pants hemmed. And pay someone to do something with her hair.
Céline Dion is spotted heading to the Opera Garnier in Paris, in Balmain.
LOVE. It’s a crazy-ass formal Gumby jumpsuit tuxedo … thing. And it has found the one person on the planet most suited to wear it. Bow down to the cray-chic and its mistress.
