Sofia Boutella promotes “The Mummy” at BBC Radio One in London.
We’re not remotely surprised to come across confirmation of our suspicion that Miss Sofia has a knack for street style. Her red carpetry for this poledance – which, like so many Cruise film poledances seems to require quite a bit of formality from its female co-stars (i.e., gowns n’ diamonds) – has been spotty. More importantly, she hasn’t come off like a person comfy in those sorts of looks.
And maybe we can’t divine what her true feelings are about this jumpsuit (?), but she sure looks much more relaxed here than she did in those gowns:
And sure, it’s a rust-colored paisley jumpsuit (?) with leopard print trim. That’s pretty rough, when you say it out loud (or in this case, type it out with your fingers). We can’t suggest with straight faces that this is a chic, high-fashion look. But because it works for her, flatters her, and seems to suit her, we think it’s safe to say it’s a good choice for a day look.
The shoes seem wrong but we can’t really pin down what they should be. Suggestions?
