Rachel Weisz, Sam Claflin, and Holliday Grainger at the “My Cousin Rachel” UK Premiere

Look at all the pretty Brits in their serious togs:

Then again, the film (see below) probably calls for a certain serious darkness on the RC. Besides, we can’t say they look terrible. Just … serious.

But of course we have special quibbles for each of them.

Rachel Weisz in Oscar de la Renta

It’s a pretty enough dress, but the waist situation is weirdly unflattering. We don’t know if it needs to be taken in or just needs a belt, but it’s pretty shapeless up top.

Sam Claflin

For some reason, his suits never fit him properly – even when they look expensive, like here – and he insists on working a stubble that does nothing for him. He’s fine, but not exactly crushing it on the style front.

Holliday Grainger

We’re going to have to amend our earlier statement. We do not, in fact, have quibbles with this dress. We outright hate it. Sorry, girl. Random sheerness is just irritating at this point. It’s a tossup as to which is worse, the bodice or the skirt. Either way, it’s a bad frock. Burn it.

This looks pretty great.
