Behold, darlings and kittens! Behold the marriage of two trends that have driven your beloved T Lo to distraction and drink! Behold the unholy hybrid of a black sheer dress OVER a seafoam green lace dress!
You know what’s really crazy? We don’t hate it.
Oh, there are definitely far too many elements fighting with each other here. The polka dots and the flowers were not at all needed for the black part and the dress would be greatly improved without them, we think. We go back and forth on the sleeve ruffles. That kind of fussiness is not to our tastes, but we tend to think it makes the dress this time. The black over the green lace works a lot better than we would have though. And she’s clearly feeling it. Also find ourselves loving the shoe choice, to our mild surprise. They give the look a modern, strong feel co-existing alongside the retro romanticism.
Yes, it’s true, kittens. A black sheer/green lace Frankendress that we actually find ourselves liking more and more. Our world. It is rocked.
