Helen Mirren Brightens Up the Monte Carlo TV Festival

Have a little Helen to brighten up your day, darlings.

We’re thinking of launching a Daily Helen inspirational calendar, which will consist of nothing more than 365 shots of Queen Helen in bright, fun frocks.

In truth, our first question was “Didn’t she wear this already?” But just because D&G is in something of a design rut and can’t seem to stop churning out seed-packet dresses doesn’t mean the Queen is recycling. This is a fresh frock. And despite the staleness of the D&G output, it comes to life on our Dame. Could definitely do without the black lace trim, though. They just can’t avoid the Sicilian Widow drag, no matter how many flowers they plaster over it.
