Friday Leftovers for the Week of June 25, 2017

Posted on June 30, 2017

Darlings, T & Lo are proud to present a Friday Leftovers post where everyone … looks pretty good, actually. Dammit. These things are ever so much more fun if we can angrily yell at people. Well, they were all pretty dull. There’s that. If they hadn’t been, we might have featured them before now, wouldn’t we?

With that out of the way, let’s get down to some mild judging of some mildly good fashion.

Camila Alves in Thai Nguyen

We don’t quite love that the gold part is sheer, but the overall look is pretty solid. Works for her.

Christian Slater in Dior Homme

Love the white kicks, but the suit looks a little big on him.

Debi Mazar

She’s ever-fab and can do no wrong. A perfect example of someone who figured out her look ages ago and just reinterprets it over and over again.

Ella Purnell in Chanel

That’s the chicest Chanel ensemble we’ve seen in ages.

Ellie Bamber in Chanel

But then Chanel had to go and ruin things by making THAT.

To be fair, it might not be so bad without the hideous sandals.

Gabrielle Union in Elie Saab

Way too boobular.

Garcelle Beauvais

Print this out and use it as a reference the next time you need a reminder about what bad proportions can do to a person.

Hillary Duff

It’s alright, but we still haven’t quite embraced the corset belt trend. We just don’t love it.

Jane Krakowski

It gets the job done, but it’s dull and too tight on her. She doesn’t look like she’s got much range of motion in her arms.

Jennifer Morrison in J. Mendel

Cute but unfinished. Needs a belt or a barrette or something.

Julianne Moore in Givenchy

Another get-er-done dress. This seems to have been the week for them.

La La Anthony

Of course.

Neve Campbell

Low-key cute.

Rebel Wilson

FINALLY. A lady who knows what to do with a plain LBD. She looks really cute here.

Rita Ora in Chanel

Against our will and very begrudgingly …

We absolutely love this. We honestly didn’t realize it until we took a closer look just now.

Suki Waterhouse in Max Mara

Zoe Saldana in Giambattista Valli

She’s covered in strawberries with a big bow at her waist. We don’t necessarily love it, but we respect it for managing to look sophisticated and grownup with those elements.

Zosia Mamet

We’re so sorry for your loss.

And with that, we bid adieu to this dull set of red carpeters and adieu to yieu and yieu and yieu. We’ll be back soon with Doctor Who (for real) and Twin Peaks reviews, but for now, enjoy your weekend, dolls!
