Carrie Coon, Justin Theroux, and Amy Brenneman attend the “The Leftovers” FYC New York Screening at Metrograph in New York City.
Having dropped this show halfway through its first season (don’t come at us, bro; we’ve got enough TV on our plates and we’ll finish this one on some to-be-determined rainy weekend), we feel completely left out of the ongoing cultural conversation about its coming end. The whole FOMO thing kicks in and then we wind up getting cranky and bitchy about it.
Which is why we’re going to contribute to this ongoing cultural conversation by providing you a space to talk about while we rag on people’s style choices. Win-win, darlings!
Justin’s not even worth focusing on because he’s worn this exact mortician’s uniform on a red carpet about a thousand times now, give or take. It’s dull. We can’t deny it works for him, but it’s still dull.
We absolutely love the concept. Grab yourself some cropped linen pants, a belt and a tanktop, lady. That’s a starting point for a chic, casual, minimalist look. But only if the proportions work, the items fit, the colors aren’t ugly and you don’t finish them off with the worst possible choice of shoe.
We’re just saying, dear.
It’s fine. Her hair is a little severe, but we suppose bustier, pencil skirt and pointy-toed pumps call for severe hair. It’s not a bad look, but we think she’d benefit from softening things up a little.
