But this one’s a little … rough. We get the impression that once she stops posing, it looks a lot less interesting. She’s working it pretty hard.
We love the idea of a deconstructed lady tux. Going a little cray is not only perfect for the venue, it’s encouraged. And it suits her, strangely enough. But the design feels … we don’t know … unresolved somehow. And the finishing on the pieces doesn’t look quite as good as it should. It’s a good concept and it’s perfect for her, but we think this would’ve been great improved by turning that top into a conventional jacket with a striped bandeau underneath. As it is, it’s trying to do too much.
Love the shades, though. And the jewelry’s on point. Her accessories game is still A-level, but the design of this suit isn’t entirely working for us.
