While it’s true she’s having a banner career year which is almost certain to end with awards statues, we suppose a hard working lady’s got bills to pay, so if she wants to put on a pretty gown for an all-expenses-paid glorified ribbon-cutting ceremony, who are we to cast aspersions. Cash those checks, gal.
Strangely, she chose a really pretty dress that suits her really well. We say “strangely” because that’s a feat she only manages about 75% of the time when she’s on a red carpet promoting herself and her work. We kind of wish she’d saved this one for the Emmys poledance or something.
