Not to be total bitches about it or anything (which is a thing you write just before you unleash something TOTALLY bitchy)…
But we never quite understand why other people don’t see that thick red line that separates “looking hot” from “looking tacky.”
As with Ariel Winter (who has a nice little gig going where she dresses for maximum attention at press events and then yells at the press for giving it to her) and her choices, it’s not about us shaming some young woman for dressing skimpy. You’re a starlet, this is the MTV Awards, and if you want to look hot, we’re all for it. Feel yourself, girl. This is not tut-tutting about propriety. This is us saying “Honey, that dress? Not that cute.”
Honestly, has a pair of side cutouts of those proportions ever not looked tacky?
