Style File: Elisabeth Moss in Miu Miu and Rosetta Getty

Always happy to see Miss Lizzie back on our red carpets, especially since she’s got a killer project to promote – although we were just saying in today’s podcast that we have no idea how we’re going to find the time to watch it, what with all the primo TV dropping left and right this spring.

Ah well, we may get behind on reviewing The Handmaid’s Tale, but at least we can take the time to judge Elizabeth’s red carpet choices, darlings. Just another of the many services we provide here at T Lo Screwed-Up Priorities, Ltd.

Shall we get to it, then?

Well, now we feel bad. That intro would’ve been fine if we could’ve launched into huzzahs over her style choices, but this dress is so … not good that we feel we have to immediately go and do a supportive feminist critique of her latest project before we say another word.

Alas, we don’t have the time (two TV review posts are in the pipeline today, along with a podcast reviewing 3 other shows, because constant television viewing seems to have become mandatory in the last year), so we’ll have to just go ahead and tell her that dress is not being a friend to her. Yellow’s not her best color and the shape and style are on the dowdy side. Hanging such a heavy brooch off the neckline wasn’t the best way to go here.

Oh, thank GOD. She looks fabulous. If this post had been nothing but “Hey, Lizzie! Your show looks, like super-important and stuff but WOW! Your dresses sure are ugly! Mkay, bye!” We would have felt the need to apologize. Thankfully, we can say in all honesty that she looks really great here, which means we’re not shallow.

Just go with it.
