Style Double Shot: Freida Pinto in DVF and Temperley London

Posted on April 06, 2017

Miss Freida’s got a new project to promote (see below), which is why she’s been out and about so much lately in a succession of eye-popping looks. She’s hit or miss with her style, but she’s been stepping up her game of late.

Shall we judge, darlings? Yes. Let’s.

Great colors, print and shape. It would be a perfect day dress with just a couple of inches off the hem. We’ve come around on the tea length hem, but we tend to think it’s a dressier, more formal length. This would look so much breezier and simpler if it stopped at the knees.

Also, the shoes don’t really go.

Next up: daytime DRAMA.

LOVE. The prints and colors look gorgeous on her. We tend to think that sleeveless trench (which is a head-scratcher of a concept) really needs to be belted for the look to work, though.

We find ourselves without much of a strong opinion on the footwear. We think a look like this needs some sort of style that plays well with it (meaning things like basic pumps are out), but we’re not sure if a gladiator sandal is the right way to go. Suggestions, kittens?

Wow. That looks amazing.
