While it’s good to see you back in fighting form, so to speak, we’ve gotta say, Kimmy…

This is all looking mighty stale. And that fact that this is a 6-year-old dress isn’t really the reason why. We’d wager you could find plenty of dresses from the fall ’11 collections that would look perfectly stylish today. But this sheer dress, show-me-panties look that you and your clan perfected is definitely not the way the red carpet’s going, girl. Everyone’s gotten over it. It took us many years to admit, and we still have to say it through clenched teeth, but you’re supposed to be setting trends, not beating them to death long after they should be retired.

The thing is, she and her family don’t actually have style in the way we’d define it. They are ALL brand- and image-based, which is why she’s still working this look. To change her style now would be like McDonald’s getting itself a new logo.

Also, she looks like she’s covered in mold, which is a not inconsiderable point.
