Translating the Trends for Spring 2017: Bold Pinks and Bright Yellows

Kittens, we don’t know about you, but right about now we’re in need of two very important things. Bright, happy colors and retail therapy. Now, we could just go out and shop four ourselves, like selfish assholes, but we’d much rather serve womankind by finding her fabulous, affordable (mostly) takes on the latest spring trends. No, no, darlings, Please, sit down. Stop clapping. We also get paid.

Anyway, pink and yellow are always in every spring, of course, but the tones shift over time and for spring 2017, the options have tended toward bolder and brighter versions of these colors. Pack away your pastels for a spring down the line, because this year, spring is trending LOUD.

Ready? Lorenzo had fun with this one but kept it fairly basic – with a ton of options. First up:

For the ladies and the girly-girls who’ll just die if they don’t get a fabulous new spring frock. There’s a lot of simple, basic styles here, because that’s how the season seems to be trending. While you can easily find your share of wild prints or even gingham options this season, Lo wanted to focus on solids to really bring out the boldness of this color trend. Lo’s faves? All of them.
