Style File: Catherine Zeta-Jones Jackies it Up in NYC

Miss Catherine Z-J, appears to be one a little sidewalk tour this week. She’s certainly been hitting the pavement in some highly papp-able looks. Shall we pay her the attention her efforts call for, darlings? It’s the very least we could do for her.

Serving up some primo Jackie O drag. The half-shade mismatches between the bag, pants, shoes and blouse are probably eyelid-twitch-inducing in indoor lighting, but the sunlight tends to minimize the effect. In truth, if it wasn’t such a perfect (if likely unintentional) “Jackie in NY circa 1977” look we might be a little more critical about the over-matchiness and the slightly dated feel, but she looks way too good for us to nitpick too much. Even if she wasn’t famous, she’d turn heads walking down the street. It’s a good set of pictures.

Unfortunately, we’re not quite feeling the next attempt:

Oof. No, dear. It photographs terribly and looks at least 2 sizes too large for you. You’re better off sticking to the Jackie playbook.
