What should be, by all rights, the OFFICIAL shoe style of all Bitter Kittens everywhere, the fabulous KITTEN HEEL, is back in style in a big way this season, to the relief, no doubt, of many stylish feet everywhere. When Tom proposed this humble heel as our next T3 post (Did you see how we coined a new cool, edgy way of saying “Translating The Trends?” Quality blogging!), Lorenzo’s eyes lit up. To ask him to go shoe shopping for a fresh, trendy style is like asking anyone else if they’d like a bag of money because you’ve got so many just lying around. We’re telling you this as a way of preparing you for the fact that he went a little nuts. Even after a good hour of Tom whittling the choices down to a manageable number, we still couldn’t get it under 140. But we figured, most gals in the mood or market for a fresh pair of shoes won’t mind an abundance of options.

We did stretch the definition of a kitten heel, which is normally defined as a thin, low heel. Since chunky low heels are also very much on trend – and in some ways, easier to wear – we decided to broaden things a little and include both options. Since we have a loafers/flats/oxfords post planned somewhere down the line, we chose to restrict Lo to just pumps and sandals for now. Trust us, any more than that and you’d be scrolling for hours.

So. Ready to shop?

The answer, as always, is “yes.”

Kitten-Heeled Pumps:

When asked to name his favorites, Lo pondered for a good long while and then came back with, “All of them…?” We opted to weed out a lot of simple, basic low-heeled pumps because you can find them anywhere, and Lo focused on the fresher, quirkier styles, like most of the above. He claims to be partial to the Kate Spades, but loves most of the funkier ASOS options and opted for the plain yellow Nine West pumps because the color’s so on trend this season.

But if the weather’s warm and you feel like freeing your toes and showing off your pedi, then let’s head on over to:

Kitten-Heeled Sandals:

Again, Lo had a hard time even pointing any of the above out, because he loves almost all of them. He’s a big shoe softie, it would seem. Upon applying pressure, which is something Tom knows how to do very well, Lo eventually admitted that the mules are standing out most to him as the freshest style, as well as a lot of those ankle-straps from ASOS. He’s also loving the Isabel Marant and the bright yellow (on trend!) Kate Spades.

So, kittens. Feeling like slipping your kitten paws into any of these kitten heels?

Wow, that sounded unexpected and indefinably dirty somehow.
