Well will you look at that. Miss Kiki snagged herself one of those whimsical-af Gucci frocks – and we actually really, really like it. We know. We’re shocked too.
And we suspect we’re not gonna get a whole lot of backup on this. Sure, the print’s a bit on the wallpaper-y side, but the snakes among the flowers are what really make the print. It gives a bit of an ironic edge, as trite as that observation sounds. We like the shape and style for her, but we hate all the trim; hem, cuffs, and neck. First, it’s annoying that none of them match in width and that the cuffs have the Gucci stripe, which this dress absolutely didn’t need. We can deal with the bow and even with the hem, but the cuffs really bug.
Still, she looks cute. It’s bold and bright and perfect for an event like this. The shoes are … not so much wrong, but they feel like a missed opportunity. What would your rec be in this instance?
