Jaden Smith Makes a Statement at the Louis Vuitton Fall 2017 Fashion Show

Jaden’s having a Fashion Moment, everyone. It’s very serious. There will be no smiling for this photo session.

By standing with his vision obscured at the top of a massive marble staircase, Jaden is producing inherent tension in his fashion, making you hold your breath and wonder if he’s going to literally die for it.

This is why Jaden will not smile for your cameras. Jaden will literally die for fashion. Would you say the same? Would you laugh at those who do?

In other news. facially, he’s starting to cross that line that separates kid from adult. Turns out he’s going to have a killer jawline.

As for the ensemble, we’ll just say we get what he’s going for and largely support it. The coat’s great. The bag really doesn’t go. The style, color and proportions are wrong. Everything from the waist down is … well. Like we said, we get what he’s doing. He’s young and he wants to push boundaries, so at Paris Fashion Week, that’s gonna mean weird silhouettes or proportions. We can respect it, even if we don’t love it.
