J Lo, Derek Hough & Jenna Dewan Tatum Show Off Their Moves at the “World of Dance” Presentation

The stars of NBC – and can we just say that we love that Jennifer Lopez has now joined their ranks? Anyway, the stars of NBC came out to hawk their summer wares at the NBC Summer Press Day, and that means J Lo and her band of hoofers came out to poledance – almost literally this time. Judge them? Why, certainly.

Jenny’s here to show off some leg and remind you who you’re dealing with. Mission accomplished. But to be perfectly honest, we’re not in love. The top is tight and didn’t need the plunging neckline. And it doesn’t really photograph all that well. While a cute little day dress might’ve been a better option, we think she’s deliberately dressed to clear a dancefloor. It’s almost literally a dance costume. That’s fine, but this one doesn’t work as well as it could on this red carpet. It feels like she’s trying too hard somehow.

Men who wear extravagant scarves indoors should be treated with caution, we feel.

Even so, this is not a bad look.

Fine, he looks cute. But we still say the scarf’s a bit much.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum

We think Miss Jenna might’ve won this round by striking a balance between “cute little dress” and “dance costume.” Normally, we wouldn’t love the matchy satin sandals, but again: dance costume. She almost looks like a chorus girl in an old musical, with the matchy red lip and shoe.
