Demi Lovato Keeps Things Very Simple for the Open Mind Gala

Is it us, or is Miss Girl here all over the map lately? Nothing wrong with switching things up, of course, but she’s on something of a promo tour at the moment and her style choices feel a little random, rather than thought out.

Maybe we’re just cranky because despite the Valentino label, this just looks like a basic prom or bridesmaid dress, rendered in white. It’s … just okay. Granted, the event didn’t call for big fashion drama, but we’re not necessarily asking for it. It’s not so much that this is dull as it’s so generic that it tends to look more like discount off-the-rack rather than high fashion.

Again, it’s fine. It’s not awful. It’s just kind of … sitting there, all white and generic. She can do better.
