This dress is a little cray. It is also, not coincidentally, very well suited to Courtney Love.
That may sound a little shady, but we don’t necessarily mean it that way. It’s just that her own coloring responds really well to bright, wild pairings of color, her personality calls for bold and clashing patterns, and her looks have always been well suited for vaguely ’40s-inspired styles like this. We’re pretty sure we’d dislike this dress rather intensely on the wrong wearer, but Miss Courtney’s the right gal for it.
The matching sandals are not good, however. Partially because of the matchiness, and partially because we’re so tired of seeing this particular kind of sandal.
