We picked these shots for one reason only. It’s not because he’s a beautiful man (which he is) or that the suit is an admirable attempt on his part to be more high-fashion as he closes in on the Oscars (which it is). No, there was really only one reason for us to feature Mr. Viggo today after his last, rather disappointing red carpet appearance.
Viggo snagged himself a new pair of shoes. We’re telling you guys, it makes a huge difference. To see a fresh, unbroken, non-scuffed pair of shoes under a suit that costs as much as a car is to see a man who realizes that all the details in his look matter. You can’t just throw any old shit on when the style stakes are this high.
A tie would’ve been nice here. Or a non-black shirt, at least. Still, he did good.
