Okay, the title’s a little odd, we admit, but look:
We don’t GET it.
Why wear a big faux fur bathmat – with naked sandals? And a slit-to-the-thigh pencil skirt? In gingham? BEIGE gingham, which is like the entire concept of blandness in textile form.
Why does she have a pull tab?
Why are those sleeves even?
Why would you put a big jacket over a top with sleeves like that anyway?
Why would you wear a top cut like this and then shove it into a high-waisted skirt?
Just… why, Vanessa?
It occurs to us that the deployment of a well-fitted pair of jeans would make this whole outfit look fine. That skirt is really the issue here. Not that we love the top or the jacket, but they’d make more sense with jeans.
GOD, that does not look at all good, but surprisingly, it’s gotten some mildly good early buzz.
