Respect.
When was the last time anyone wore a ruffled tuxedo shirt at the Oscars? Non-ironically? Give it up for a man willing to go there. And it doesn’t actually look bad. This is not something we can see working as a widespread trend. If there’s one thing we learned the last time ruffled tuxedo shirts were considered de rigueur, it’s that only a small portion of men can look dignified or hot wearing them.
We’d say the cut is slightly off, but really, it’s only slightly off from our preferences. The shoulders don’t look right to us, though.
Still, it’s a memorable look, and a risk well taken.
