No, that title doesn’t make a lot of sense. Unless you’ve seen the look we’re talking about:
She’s stunning. She’s wearing a freaking tiara. She’s sporting an ACLU ribbon. She’s dressed in one of those super-churchy, religious cult looks Valentino tends to do these days. She’s our stunning, regal, woke sister-wife. We actually gasped when we saw this. Still, it was a minor disappointment, only because she’s worn several of the more dramatic, ecclesiastical Valentino red gowns before. This isn’t new ground for her. Since she switches up her game so frequently (she wore Delpozo and Rodarte in the last 48 hours), we expected something a bit, well… unexpected.
It’s beautiful, though. And it’s one of those hard-to-wear looks she’s particularly well-suited for. As much as we love the idea of a tiara, we question wearing red jewels with a red gown.
But it’s beautiful, no?
Oh, hell. Let’s put it up to a vote.
