It would seem it’s impossible for anyone to wear this dress and not look like they’re leaning to one side.
Are we wrong here? She looks like she’s trying to steady herself.
It’s a classic example of a design that simply didn’t stop when it should have. The textile is nice enough. And maybe we could be talked into liking the tiered skirt (although Lorenzo has a deep and abiding dislike of them). But that shoulder thing is just silly. A simple, clean bodice over a tiered skirt is dress enough. Tacking a giant diagonal ruffle on top is a style bridge too far, we’re afraid.
Also, ankle straps are awkward with an ankle-length hem.
