We’re not sure why, but this is the first time her blonde hair has worked for us.
This whole look is kind of adorable; like Sally Brown going to fashion week.
But it’s a deceptively simple look that’s extremely well thought-out. First, it’s the most “New York” this California Gurl has ever looked, making it a great choice for Fashion Week. Sometimes, LA-based stars have a hard time pulling off a good NY street look, but she nailed this one. Not that everyone’s wandering the city in thigh-high wedge boots or anything; just that it blends well with its sidewalk setting, instead of coming off like “SUPERSTAR HERE. NOTICE ME.” Part of the appeal for us is that she managed to blend high fashion with street style in a way that doesn’t come off pretentious. She looks casually comfortable, all things considered. In a lot of ways, we consider this the perfect look for Fashion Week in New York in February. Photogenic, stylish, practical, and very New York.
