Entertainment Weekly Celebrates the SAG Award Nominees Red Carpet Rundown

Posted on February 01, 2017

Yet ANOTHER celebrity Look-At-Me party, darlings! They can’t stop, won’t stop looking around the room for applause. Fine by us. More outfits to judge.

Danielle Brooks in Jovani

She’s been making some fairly cray choices this week, so this looks fine to us in comparison.

Hannah Simone in Thai Nguyen Atelier

Cute.

We always say that about her style. It’s cute. She almost never gets it wrong. But we don’t find it very memorable, either.

Jaime King in Alex Perry

The quintessential Morticia dress.

Kaley Cuoco in Elisabetta Franchi

Not feeling the hair or the shoes, but the dress is cute.

Laverne Cox in Jason Boateng

Fabulous, but it looks like one of her sleeves was chewed off by something.

Maisie Williams in Milly

Love the shoes, but once again, we must register disappointment that her style has lost its edge.

Malin Akerman in Zhivago

Newp.

Matt Smith

That’ll do.

Taryn Manning in Giles Deacon

There seems to be this trend lately of semi-cute to really cute dresses with ugly and unflattering sleeve treatments.

Uzo Aduba in Mason Hosker

Lots of silver at this party. This is probably our favorite of the silver dresses.

Yara Shahidi in Sophie Theallet

But we have a special place in our hearts for this one. It’s way too much, and way too coordinated (eyeshadow to bag), but it’s a head-turner for sure. The blouse is cute on its own, but we’re not convinced the pants work at all.
