Let’s Judge The Men at the National Board of Review Gala

Not ALL the men. Just the ones who caught our eyes. We’re shallow that way.

Haha, no. Half these guys look like they rolled in from the bus station. We just narrowed it down to these four because everyone else was so dull.

Although maybe this isn’t the best way to make our point, considering this is far from interesting. It’s fine. Just depressingly dull and uniform-like.

 

 

Casey Affleck

We’ll give Casey Affleck credit. At least he dresses up his dull suit with extreme styling. Besides, the tie and vest look pretty nice on him.

He could use some beard oil or wax, however.

We’re afraid we’re not particularly convinced on this one. We always tend toward a dim view of all-black formalwear for men, but even we can admit some men are suited for it. The problem is that patterned shirt. One of them, anyway. The other one, and probably the more important one, is that none of this seems to fit him all that well.

The hair, on the other hand, is fabulous.
