Darlings, the stars came out in various forms of dress to launch their little action movie enterprise last night. It behooves us all to take a look. Especially now that we’ve used the word “behooves” in a sentence.

Anyway, let’s scroll, shall we? And judge, of course.

That face is ON FIRE.

We have major problems with the shape of the neckline, but otherwise, the dress is stunning. Normally we’d caution a ladystar from literally working her skirt too much, but that is definitely a skirt that deserves to be worked.

This, on the other hand, is only so-so. Despite our lack of love for the cold shoulder trend, we don’t actually mind the top. The pants aren’t great. They sit too high and the length is a bit awkward. We’d have rather seen her swap out the showy earrings for something showy on her hand or wrist. And the shoes are entirely too business-like.

Sorry, doll.

It’s a little thing, but we both noted and appreciated the navy blue shirt and striped tie combo, just for being slightly different. For male stars, “slightly different” style choices can be downright explosive.

The suit’s a bit too shiny, though.

That’s a gorgeous textile, but we’re not convinced she can work the shape of this dress all that well. We suspect it’s meant for a taller type. It might’ve worked, if she stripped away practically all the accessories. Gold earrings, gold snake necklace, gold ring, gold bracelet, gold clutch and gold sandals? Girl, you went too far. This is starting to read less “movie star” and more “high roller’s girlfriend on the casino floor.”

Sorry, doll.
