Lorenzo’s Picks for: LADY BOMBER JACKETS

Darlings! After a month away from you all, isn’t it time to go shopping with Lorenzo? New year! New you! And all that stuff. We’re only a couple of weeks away from doing a “Translating the Trends” post on the upcoming spring season, but there’s still plenty of trendy and fabulous winterwear to be had. We’ve been meaning to put this one together for months now, but our holiday shopping posts too precedence last month Fortunately the classic (and trendy again) ladies bomber jacket is so interpretable that it can fit not only a range of women and lifestyles and events, but it can also transition from colder to warmer weather in fabulous style.

Lo stretched, cracked his knuckles and rolled up his sleeves in order to find the most fabulous and fun bombers out there, and in the end, he opted to divide them up by type. First up:

The CLASSIC BOMBER:

Impossible to get wrong, really. Lo’s faves: The Hilfiger, the Alice + Olivia, The Michael Kors and (God help us) the Kendall + Kylie.

But maybe you don’t want the simple and the classic, darling. Maybe you’re looking for something a little more playful.

The FUN BOMBER:

And this season? “Fun” seems to be defined as “floral.” Which is fine by us, because these are adorable.  We could see a lot of these going from casual to dressy very easily. Lo’s faves: The Alice + Olivia (because they seem to have a knack for the lady bomber, to his surprise), the Needle & Thread, which is gorgeous, Any of the TopShop options, and the INC with the red flowers, which is sassy and cute.

But maybe some of these lady bombers just aren’t as dressy or formal as you want out of your lady bomber. Maybe you’re a lady who needs a lady bomber with a little more dazzle.

The GLAM BOMBER

BAM. Who’s up for a night out? We didn’t even know sparkly bomber jackets exist and now we want one! The Gucci is absolutely TDF, although we realize the price point’s a little on the unreasonable side for most of y’all. Still, a fantasy piece is a fantasy piece. Besides, there are other fab options. Once again, Lo is loving the Alice + Olivia. But also the DVF and the Sanctuary and the rather stunning Self Portrait lace bomber. You heard us. LACE BOMBER. It’s fabulous.

Anyway dolls, seeing anything you like? Feel like getting bombed?
